Who We Are
Center for Health Relief (CHR) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization under the NGOs Act No. 24 of 2002 of the United Republic of Tanzania. Established to respond to persistent health, environmental, and social challenges, CHR focuses on integrated and community-driven solutions that improve health and well-being
Our Background
Despite progress in the health sector, many Tanzanians continue to face preventable health risks linked to environmental degradation, communicable and non-communicable diseases, weak health information systems, and limited access to quality reproductive and maternal health services. Vulnerable groups such as women, children, persons with disabilities, albinos, and people with mental disabilities remain disproportionately affected.
CHR was founded to address these gaps through sustainable, inclusive, and technology-enabled health interventions.
